Indus Business Academy organized “Reminisce - Farewell 2026” as a heartfelt two-day farewell celebration to honor and bid goodbye to the senior batch. The event was designed to create a memorable experience by blending cultural performances, engaging activities, entertainment, and emotional moments, providing students with an opportunity to celebrate achievements, strengthen bonds, and cherish shared memories. The theme of the event, “Reminisce,” beautifully reflected the spirit of nostalgia, gratitude, and togetherness.
The first day, themed “Ethnic Night,” celebrated cultural vibrancy and student engagement. The evening commenced with lively cultural performances, where students showcased their talents through music and dance, creating an energetic and welcoming atmosphere. This was followed by the Paper Dance Activity for seniors, where paired participants demonstrated teamwork and coordination while dancing within a shrinking paper boundary, adding excitement and enthusiasm to the event. A Random Activity Round further enhanced participation, as randomly formed groups were assigned spontaneous tasks that encouraged creativity, quick thinking, and collaboration. The emotional highlight of the evening was the Gift Distribution and Speech Ceremony, during which juniors expressed their gratitude, appreciation, and heartfelt wishes to the seniors. The day concluded with an energetic DJ Night, where everyone came together to celebrate joyfully. Adding a personal touch, a Chart Scribble / Confession Wall was arranged, allowing students to share memories, messages, and wishes, making the evening even more meaningful.
The second day, themed “Date Theme,” combined elegance, formal interaction, and entertainment. The evening began with a Dinner Session, creating a relaxed atmosphere for interaction and bonding, followed by Rose Giving during entry as a symbol of respect and appreciation for the seniors. The formal programme started with an introduction, followed by a cultural performance that entertained the audience. One of the most creative highlights was the segment “Introduce Yourself as a Brand,” where participants presented themselves uniquely, showcasing individuality, confidence, and creativity. The Couple Ramp Walk added glamour and excitement, as participants displayed style, coordination, and confidence on stage. Another engaging segment, “Ethical Edge,” challenged participants to make humorous yet thoughtful ethical choices, promoting critical thinking and spontaneity. The Quiz Round conducted by faculty members added an intellectual and interactive dimension to the celebration by testing participants’ knowledge and teamwork. The event reached its peak with the Cake Cutting Ceremony and Result Announcement, followed by a lively DJ Night, marking a joyful and memorable conclusion to the farewell celebration.
A major highlight of Reminisce – Farewell 2026 was the recognition of outstanding participants. Heartfelt congratulations were extended to the title winners: Mr. Eleanor Omanshu Rathore (FPB2426/233) and Ms. Eleanor Jyotirmayi Maharana (FPB2426/037), whose confidence, grace, and presence truly embodied the spirit of the event. Special recognition was also given to the Best Outfit Winners: Khushee Singh (FPB2426/024) for Best Outfit Female and Hritik Warang (FPB2426/017) for Best Outfit Male, whose elegance and style added charm to the celebration.
The organizing team expressed sincere gratitude to all participants for their enthusiasm and active involvement, which made the event truly special. Special thanks were extended to MJ Sir for his invaluable guidance and support throughout the event. Appreciation was also conveyed to B.K. Bhattacharya Sir, Narendra Babu Sir, and Sharmila Ma’am for serving as judges and contributing their valuable insights. The Operations Department was acknowledged for ensuring the smooth execution of the event, while the Maintenance Department was appreciated for their continuous support in managing logistics seamlessly.
